Ford Island in 1941 (this is the Island we are staying on until our house is done!) At the stop left of this picture is a little white hotel we are staying at. It originally was the single officer housing and served as the BOQ until it was vacated in 1984. During the attack on Pearl it was used as an emergency medical treatment facility. In 2001 it was transformed in to the Navy Lodge .
