Next Surgery and Thanksgiving

Will be Dec. 7th early in the morning. It will be for his right thumb. I will post pictures and more info next week.

David will be 5 months on Nov. 18th. I can't believe how big he is getting. We will update more later. Thanks for the cards. Keith will be turning 25 on Friday Nov. 20th. So don't forget to wish him a Happy Birthday.

Day 3

We get to go home tomorrow YEA !!!!!!!! Brooke and Keith backs hurt because of the beds here at the hospital suck !! David slept better last night. Dr. Saito came in this morning and was very happy with how well he is recovering. David is still smiling and talking to the nurses and doctors. The nurse staff love him up here. (he is a big flirt) He had a bath today and the aide clean his cather up. So everything is looking great. The room we are in has a view of the arch. Its pretty awesome at night.



We had to say goodbye last night to another member of our family. Stormy has a new family. We had to find her a new home because us going to Hawaii. I feel like she is going to be in good has with this family.



David next surgery is December 7th and that is for his thumb. We will post again with pictures later today. Brooke's battery die to her camera.

Day 2

When I finally got up

Today David has been a little chatter box. The doctors have said that he looks really good and might go home tomorrow or Sunday if he keeps up the good work. Monkey does have an issue with his cather and like to kick it until it comes off. He will have that until Nov. 16th and then it will come off. I have pics and i'm trying to put video up but we will see. If you want to talk to us on skype give us a call and u can see David. We will post later.

Do to the Fort Hood shooting please call David room that number is 314 454 2129. Our phones are about dead. The base has upgrade the security. I don't know if Keith will be able to get on base to get our chargers. So if you need us please call the room.

David is out of surgery

David is now out of surgery and the recovery room. Dr. Saito is very happy with his surgery. David will have to go home with the cather for 10 days. We will be in the hospital probably until Sunday. Christie came to visit and is staying for a little bit. She is a great friend to us and has help us out alot. David is still drug up, so he is still sleeping. We will update later with more info.

All is Going Well

We just received a call from the nurse. She told us that they found what they were looking for and are doing the connection now. They should be done in 45 minutes. More to come as we get it.

Call from the nurse

We just got a call from the nurse from the waiting room and they have started. They started at 930 am North Carolina time and 830 Scott time. So 3 to 4 hours to go. We will post when Cathy the nurse calls again.

Just Went Back

500 am and in a good mood.

David has gone back for his reconstruction surgery. It will take 3 to 4 hours and a 45 min recovery time. David this morning has been a little chatter box this morning with laughs and smiles. So he is in a good mood right now. Brooke's phone is low on battery so if you need to talk to us call Keith's phone. I will post more later today.

Round one of Surgeries

David first surgery is at 730 am tomorrow. (Nov 5th) We have to be at Children's at 615 am. Its a 3 to 4 hour operation. I will post updates through out the day tomorrow. So watch the blog tomorrow.
